Shan-ny UK

we really felt like locals when a friend "visited" us in the UK for 6 days and we brought her around London and Bath!

First stop - The Making of Harry Potter Studio

Great Hall, Hogwarts
it really is so much fun taking photos of these 2.

Great Hall, Hogwarts
Flying Ford
Knight Bus

I think it is a good match, 2 girls who love having their photos taken and me who loves taking photographs

Privet Drive
we knocked, by no one's home.

then we waited for a really long time, finally managed to get a (mostly) empty Diagon Alley
Diagon Ally

subsequently they tried to cast a spell on me

next day, we went Notting Hill to visit the Portobello Market and find the famous blue door in the movie "Notting Hill"

Portobello Market, Notting Hill

i am glad we don't stay anywhere near Notting Hill, cos we would just be dead broke. things there are just interesting that we just want to buy them all!!!!!

oh, and we found the door

Blue Door, Notting Hill

i can't rem how old i was when i watched this, but i still remember julia saying to hugh, "i'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her"

*weeps uncontrollably*

and what's London without Ben

Big Ben, London
except with these 2 around, it would be a waste if we didn't try something more modelly

ok, maybe my fashion shooting needs more work =P

on Millennium Bridge, we saw this artist drawing, which really reminded me of my own life as an aspiring artist

next day, we went to Leadenhall Market, which was a scene in Harry Potter for Diagon Ally

Leadenhall Market, London
and to London Bridge

on London Bridge
the building on the right is the tallest building in Europe, called "The Shard", i hear from the top Eiffel Tower can be seen when the skies are clear.

it was Sunday morning, so we could do this

take photo in the middle of London Bridge

so i am really starting to appreciate the idea of waking up early to shoot when no one's around

St. Paul

and that's that for London.

went to Bath and had a walkabout, ended up in Royal Crescent where we decided to.....

test shot
attempt #1
attempt #2 - i forgot to set timer
attempt #3 - getting tired by now
attempt #4 - getting it slowly. (me at least)
i see her pose for attempt 3 and 4 i want to laugh. exactly the same 1 lo. machiam she never move at all

attempt #6

see, i v full disclosure, never cut out photos of me in weird poses.

at this stage we jump until quite seh

attempt #7 - getting there

so someone suggested the best idea ever. just follow my lead.

and.....

attempt #8 - SUCCESS!

still got a lot more photos, but i think this entry too long and i too lazy to spread out over 2 entries.

see the rest of the photos on my flickr!

all in all, it was a really really fun 6 days. =) and we had so much fun the days just flew past!
