Bristol Excursion

so we went on a day-trip to Bristol yesterday, which is just a 40min bus ride away.
it is a much bigger and more modern city, with a bigger shopping area, to her delight. =)

spent the morning shopping and bought clothes for the first time. before lunch, we were lugging around 3 big bags and looking for a place for lunch.

settled for krispy kreme. yes, for lunch. =X

4 donuts and 2 coffee = lunch for 2.

sat around to finally finish a book i bought during honeymoon =P and we made our way to the stadium to catch my first soccer match since the Malaysia cup at National Stadium in 1990 or something like that.

sat on the first row and she kept worrying abt the ball smacking her in the face. the cheers, chantings, jeers, were all very exciting.

she tot Ballpersons is someone's last name. until i told her it's the seat for the person picking up balls. -.-"

her "team" won in the end. oh well. i think it's funny how quiet the whole stadium went once the away team scored.


sometime in the middle of the match, it dawned on me that maybe there is a champions league game going on Wednesday when we are in London. so once i got back, i went online and indeed Arsenal is playing!
quickly convinced her that we would be able to make it after the Les Misérables matinee and bought tickets before she can change her mind.

afterall, might not have such chances once lessons start =X
