Winter Wonderland

while looking through my photos, i couldn't understand why most of the photos turned out so blurry when seen at full resolution..

until i realised i was playing with 1 of the settings the previous time i took it out and forgot to set it back. photos looked fine from the LCD, but when blown up looked like i had Parkinson's or something.

now want to cry also no use.

anyway, here are photos from the day we spent in London.

we found that there was this Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, which is about 15mins from where we stayed, so strolled there in the morning and saw a pirated London Eye

they had all sorts of exciting rides, but while entry is free, the exciting rides costs £6, so we decided we 坐不下.
阿Q a bit and tell ourselves it is so cold so probably not that fun anyway. =X

a merry-go-round would move up the blue tower and start spinning so it is machiam flying.
the yellow tower is for flying fox.

cos we were planning for Paris, we had mainly Euros on us
spent only the £20 we had on fries, and drinks, and burgers =P oh, and a furry hat thing for me.

even so, it really feels like Christmas, with the cold, and carols playing all across the park.

after that we went to Buckingham palace, but there was no changing of the guard parade that day, disappointing.

walked through the park, to get to TKTS to buy tickets for Singing in the rain

in between, realised that Tom Cruise would be at the West End for the premiere of Jack Reacher
waited for him for more than an hour,
ended up seeing all his fellow cast members except him cos he too dua pai, must be the last to go up stage.. had to leave for our show before he came on.

we liked singing in the rain.

altho it was based on a movie neither of us watched, the songs were catchy, the tap dancing was interesting, and when they really had water raining down on the cast, we were just shocked.
the cast went on to dance while kicking the water on the audience, so everyone had a good laugh. however, i'm still glad we didn't choose the seats on the 3rd row. =P

so that ends the first day of our trip!
